Woke up to cloudy skies and a forecast of thunderstorms today. They didn’t predict that last nite. So we changed our plans for today. I was really nervous about riding out in the open with possible thunderstorms so we decided to ride the bike path along the river. It was a good ride.
Rode on the Ottawa side then crossed the Ottawa River over to Quebec side. A nice bike path all the way.
At one point, we came across these awesome rock sculptures that a guy has been doing for over 20 years. He takes them down every fall and builds new and different ones each summer. Hope you can see them in the pictures.
They were pretty cool.
It was very warm today. Afternoon temps were in the high 90’s with horrendous humidity. When we finished riding, we sat in the park in the shade and read. However, Ed and Willma slept in their lawn chairs almost the entire time. Kinda funny cause that’s what I usually do.
Came home to a nice air conditioned house. It was miserable out in the sun. I think this is worse than the Ill-Ind weather I rode in. They have all kinds of heat advisories out for people. Ed said this is really unusual to have this much heat and humidity for this long. Predicted for all next week.
